What's on in May

Events

Whilst technically not in May, on the 29th of April we’re hosting Love Beckenham Place Park our special community event - a great way to ease into the May bank holiday weekend, with free taster sessions. Come learn more about the park and what’s on offer.

On the bank holiday Monday the 1st of May, another edition of the always popular So Last Century vintage fair.

Saturday 6th May is the Coronation concert and big lunch event and of course, the weekly Food and Farmers market is held weekly on Sundays in front of the Mansion.

Wondering whether Peckish, the street food event, will return this year? Yes it will, on Thursdays from June. Watch this space.

Free bike checks

On Sunday the 7th of May Dr Bike pays BPP a visit to offer free bike checks and minor repairs. The next visit is not until July, so be sure to bring your bike for fine-tuning.

Half term

PTP Coaching will again be running holiday clubs. Half-term dates going live here soon.

Botton’s family fair will also pay a visit over the half term. Full details coming soon.

Nature

This time of year is plentiful, with blossom on trees and flowers at their best between the end of April and June.

The bluebells in Beckenham Place Park will be at their peak in early May. Be sure to go for a walking the woodland to appreciate them in their full glory!
