Sunset Screening Sessions this Summer

British cinema will shine in South East London this summer as Sunset Screening Sessions present 10 glistening British films every Friday night after sunset at the Homestead Courtyard, in Beckenham Place Park, from July 2nd to September 10th.

Their programme paints a colourful and culturally vibrant picture of Britain. Diversity is the central pillar of Sunset Screening Sessions’ film programme. It includes comedy, horror, romance, LGBT, Black, arthouse cinema and much more, dating from 1928 all the way to the present.

Highlights include a silent film with live music score (Hitchcock's The Lodger), a Q&A with the iconic Julien Temple (Crock of Gold: A Few Rounds with Shane MacGowan) and a dog-friendly screening (23 Walks ). All but one of the films are set either entirely or partly in London, some of them not far from Beckenham Place Park itself. You will feel very much at home!

The diverse programme, with tickets starting at £13.20, is ideal for cinema aficionados and the plain curious , and anyone in between.

The event is held by Infinita Productions and DMovies, who have been exhibiting films across the British capital since 2017. Their objective is to provide Londoners with a 100% British and diverse open-air cinema.
