October Half Term in BPP
Looking for activities during half term? Beckenham Place Park (BPP) offers plenty for everyone all year round. And that’s nature and wildlife alone! We have a few happenings this October half term especially for families (and dogs!).
Kids fair
Botton’s Family fairs bring their Halloween themed kids fair for under 11 years olds to BPP between 23 and 31 October, in front of the Mansion, 11am to 6pm. There will be treats, candy, pumpkins and more to entertain the children and their families.
Book Love residency this Black History Month
Book Love was a huge success in their previous visits to BPP and they’re back this half term for a residency with the usual vibrant explosion of books and music. Do pay a visit to Book Love in the Homestead Courtyard, stock up and celebrate Black History Month with us. Book Love will also run a StoryTime session on Friday 29th October in the courtyard. Other free activities for children and families
We’re running a free butterfly walk and craft activity for children this half term. More details here

Halloween treats for dogs
Eddie’s dog treats shop’s selection is immense, with quality products and a firm favourite of dogs and their walkers in the park. Dogs are seen by many as part of the family and Eddies’s family-run business will not leave BPP’s dogs out in festivities and other special occasions. They stock doggie birthday cakes, popcorn and wine (for dogs only!) all year round but they also have Halloween themed cakes and other products (wait until you see the Christmas themed offering!).
At the Lake
PTP will be running their usual kids’ activity club this October half term with spooktastic games around the Halloween theme. Usual swimming will be running.
