Discover the environmental improvements and new amenities now available in the east - a great opportunity to learn, explore, and get involved

You will be able to pre-book free tickets for the events listed below from 12noon on Thursday 17th April:
Bat Walk – 8pm This is the only event to take place on Friday 25th April
Bird Walk - 5am
Forest bathing - 11.30am Ancient Woodland, 1pm Accessible route by the River Ravensbourne, 2.45pm Ancient Woodland
Mountain Biking with Penge and Herne Hill Cycling Clubs on the new mountain bike trail
Other activities on the day:
BMX track
Community stalls including Bellingham Linking Lives and BPP Community Gardener’s plant stall
Eddie’s Dog show: 1pm with registration at 11am – 12.30pm

Go mini-beast hunting with The Field Studies Council
Learn about the completed enhancements and the flood and climate resilience benefits to the area with project partners T Loughman Building & Civil Engineering Contractors and BDB Architects.
Learn about the beautiful River Ravensbourne and see what’s living in the water with project partners environmental charity Thames21 and the Environment Agency.

Where to find us on the day:
The east side of the park is on the Downham side of the railway line, on the grass next to the River Ravensbourne. Nearest park entrances are Downham Gate on Old Bromley Road and Beckenham Hill East over the railway bridge from Beckenham Hill entrance. (What3Words ///winter.exists.fonts)
