Nature group for preschool aged explorers (up to 5 years. Please note that although there is no minimum age for this group this particular session is better suited to children who are confident walkers).

Come and join the group on an adventure playing and exploring outdoors. Join in with lots of mucky fun, making mud pies, creating beautiful nature inspired art and outdoor fun!

At Little Explorers, you’ll be looking for wildlife, bug hunting for worms, beetles and snails; listening for birds and looking for signs of the animals we share our spaces with.

The sessions are informal and are all about the children leading their exploration, which is how we find children learn best. There are weekly themes linked in with a craft and a story, providing the children with spotting/nature ID sheets and magnifying classes so they can get up close to the natural world, and help support their natural curiosity. However, if they want to just splash in a muddy puddle, that's fine too, it is, after all, an important way to learn about the world around them.
