Following the success of a similar event in Beckenham Place Park in early September, the folk behind the Hip Hop Jam community event take it up a notch to celebrate Black History Month in style!
Hip Hopera and EPIC (everyone is capable) bring you a one-day burst of art and music deeply rooted in the Hip Hop music genre, with a celebration of black history and culture across the day.
This family-friendly event is free and open to everyone to take part, enjoy and celebrate!
Programme
· A breakdance workshop
· Live canvas art
· Live rap and singing, with socially responsible lyrics
· DJ
· A talk from an entrepreneur and inspirational speaker with a Q & A
· Stalls by black owned businesses including hand-crafted items.
