BPP's Rubber Duck Race

Join us down by our Ravensbourne River in Beckenham Place Park for our inaugural rubber duck race!

Taking place between 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, heats will happen at the following times:

13:10, 13:30, 13:50, 14:10, 14:30 with a grand final at 14:50.

The event is hosted by James Allen, BPP Park Ranger and Catriona Ross, BPP Community Engagement Officer from Thames21.

All ages are welcome and it’s free to enter. The activity for participants will be on dry land, so you do not need to go into the water but if you'd like your kids to, please wear wellies or water shoes as the riverbed can be sharp. Adults are responsible for their children at all times

By the large Cherry tree alongside the river which is next to the large field with compound fences where the the improvements are.  side of the river to the new playpark and BMX track. Look out for the BPP Volunteers flag pointing you in the right direction if you're coming from Downham and Bellingham entrances to the park. If you're coming from Ravensbourne entrance we are on right just after the new pond. Look out for our gazebo. Please note, there are no public facilities in this side of the park yet.
